Do you begin every new year with a promise to start fresh and relax more? Often when we break down and burn out, we feel guilty for not taking those resolutions more seriously. But we also feel guilty when we actually take time off. It’s a strange and uncomfortable tension between wanting to take better care of ourselves and needing to do all the other things that seem to get in the way. God calls us as people of faith to “remember the Sabbath,” “be still” and “not be anxious.” We preach these things and know them, so why can’t we do them? In this seminar we’ll talk about practical ways to remember the Sabbath and find time to be still and listen for God.
